Could be a good idea, although it'd take some time to implement.
I haven't seen this suggested before, support.

 

There are surely mods for this vB version. But it is not needed tbh. I find current way of posting just fine.

Even if this was implemented, it would be left to the users to be responsible for setting up the spoilers in their posts, which I know some won't be assed to do. No support sorry.

 

I'd support this, would be useful for things like guides/marketing.

You don't have to use it. It's just an easy way to hide (unnecessary) pictures, etc.

No support, people can just choose not to read parts that will spoil their fun.

 

I support this, it would be useful for graphics thread. Sadly this has been suggested many times though, it never works.

 

I support this but it has been denied many times im sure due to technical reasoning. I tend to not read threads about games or movies that I haven't watched or seen because when there is no warning of a spoiler you can accidentally read something that spoils the game/movie. Also in certain cases, if used correctly, can help organize a thread better.

I support. I love being able to use this on other forums. You can keep threads much cleaner, and it's just nice to be able to hide unnecessary pictures, or sentences.

 

Hmm I hope it can come back again, that was 4 years ago though.

 

A spoiler feature is definitely handy, as many other various forums provide this feature, however I do not think this version of vB supports this features, therefore an upgrade would be necessary which also has been suggested before.

I'll just leave the fact that it's been suggested over 30 times behind, and talk about the actual spoilers.

From my experience, spoilers are overused. People will use them anywhere. "Spoiler for signature" "Spoiler for picture of girlfriend" "Spoiler for glow-in-the-dark watch" etc. It really becomes a pain, because no matter how you try, you're always gonna click. It doesn't really work, and the other forums I've seen it on removed it after a while again.

 

No support, people will always click on the spoilers no matter what anyway. The fact that it's just going to be overused will make users just click on every spoiler no matter what it says.
