Good Idea , However - Yes this can be exploited....

When people click drop down etc it can link to a Virus Auto download - Key logger and what not.

 

Hmm...Maybe they can enable it for trusted members. Such as a Forum Addict and up.

If im not mistaken, although I'm not certain for vbulletin 3.6.x, the vBulletin forums do come with spoiler tags. I've made several forums for various gaming clans and all have had SPOILER tags in the default BBCodes.

This shouldnt be hard to do, Sythe may have either disabled them in the beginning or is running an old version of vBulletin (in which case he could easily download an older patch for spoiler tags in this version).

 

No it cant because you cant link something to autodownload in BBcode. You would need HTML enabled (which it is not, this also explains the YOUTUBE tags for embedding).

You still need to have a direct link and a direct link is a direct link no matter if its visible or hidden behind

Spoiler

tags.
