Splash screen

[scary tiger]

what is the code for splash screen Loading and has a timer example when i open the program splash screen will pop up and if i wait 20 seconds the program will pop here self i dont know if you all can understand it if the program opo up the splash screen wil gone

[LeetScape]

Easiest way to make one is right click the project menu, click create form then choose Splash screen

-.-

1) Click the 'new form' button
2) A dialog should come up, there should be the option to create a spalsh screen. Double click it
3) Now for the timer, there is a clock-looking icon in your tools toolbar - insert one.
4) You need to change the Interval option in the properties for the timer, but im not sure of a suitable number and I am even more unsure of the code...

it would be something like

if timer1.interval = 4 then
frmsplash.visible = false

Sorry.

I hope that helps a bit. If you can find the right code then yeh...

[hmm]

new form for splash..
add a timer and set the interval, 1000 for 1sec.
guessing you would use a label to countdown, if it = 0 then open mainform, unload splash.

Private Sub Form_Load()
Timer1.Interval = "1000"

End Sub

Private Sub Timer1_Timer()
If Label1.Caption <= "0" Then
Form2.Show
Unload Me
Else
Label1.Caption = Label1.Caption - 1
End If
End Sub

so:timer, label, extra form

Timers are overrated....
I can open it fine, I don't know why it gives you a corrupt archive error... get a different archive reader like 7zip or winace if winrar isn't your cup of tea, winzip itself is horrible
