Speeding Up Your Computer At Start-up

Ever wonder why your computer takes fucking forever to start-up? Well, I'll tell you now. Your computer most likely starts up a lot of junk and things you won't need until later on. This guide will teach you how to remove things from start up so your computer performance will be much better.

Step I: Go to start and search "msconfig" and click the application:

Step II: An application will pop-up and there will be choices of: General, Boot, Services, Startup, and Tools. Hover your mouse pointer over the startup option and click it. It should look like this:

Step III: Now, you can choose what you want and don't want to start-up. There's a lot of things I don't want to start up... such as itunes, quicktime, and other things.

Step IV: You will receive a message asking you to reboot your computer for changes to take effect, click yes and changes will take effect once computer has been restarted.

Disabling these programs will help your computer boot faster and lag less. Something you should know is, only disable things that seem foreign to you and then you don't need running all the time. A good example would be is iTunes, obviously you do not need iTunes at start-up, disabling that at start-up helped my computer start-up go noticeably faster.
