Yeah I just realized how expensive collector's edition are. For example, the game "Luigi's Mansion." I wanted to go buy a copy a few days ago as I remember how fun it was when I was a kid. I looked and was like "WTF why is it $100 now". Then I realized that they are collector's edition. I used to had a collector's edition as well but the game is scratched up (thanks to the kids). Still have the case though but probably isn't worth anything without the game.

Nice collection just un dude, holy shit. I was pretty much in awe for like 10 minutes lol! I would love to have your room.
I have a few stuff lying around but it's really hard for me to collect that stuff. Whenever I did, I would just have to open it. Maybe one day when I have alot of extra cash I'm going to collect games, not for profit but just as a avid Nintendo lover, especially Nintendo 64.

If I ever need anything I can just ask you as you probably have it. :p

What are you collecting now? I read that you sold all your NES and N64 stuff?

You will have to wait for years to get good money from them.
I prefer doing something else that will get you faster money.

Because I have time then, and prices are crazy atm ^^
I would need some time, since I'd be listing hundreds of items :\

And btw minish cap is pretty wanted, all zelda games are :)
I just checked ebay, there's no European Zelda minish cap sealed even for sale atm.

The gameboy games in my pic are worth about 1000$ total.

This was like maybe half a year ago.

    Now it's at about 500$+

A sealed copy of secret of mana recently sold even for 10.000 pounds which is about 15000$ lol

Ahh that had to be a little bit of a letdown. how did you acquire most your games? just held onto them for awhile? Ive ben going to pawnshops and consignment shops alot so I dont really find sealed copies but ive done pretty well selling used games as it is.

I bought most of mine on Ebay and online sites where ppl sell second handed stuff.

The advantage of living in the USA I guess is that there are way more games to find, and there are alot more open markets / flea markets and real pawnshops etc.

honestly if you have awhile to wait you'd probly be best selling at christmas but right now as it stands you should still be able to expect 5 grand eventually selling em 1 at a time on ebay or amazon. you could try listing the whole unopened case of on ebay and see what that fetches. sounds extremely rare that you have an unopened case.

Also if your going to open the case to sell them individually you should consider taking them to get them graded. they should grade really high if there str8 outa the case

Cant be emulated? I am playing Zelda Wind Waker right now on my pc with an emulator

Games that are worth the most are older ones that are considered "the best ones ever"

Harvest Moon for snes is extremely rare and if unopened would be worth alot
Chrono Trigger another snes game considered to be one of the best rps
Castlevania symphony of the night for ps1

Classic greats like that will be worth more. Games back then always had something new about them besides a story like new games now. Mario Bros. had the same story of princess getting captured Mario saving the day and each title for snes and nes are still played quite alot. But look at the CoD series. It is the same junk in everyone. Also older games had a skill level that challenged people. Games today you get infinite lives or continues back in the day you started with like 3 lives and 2 continues. New games won't be worth anything worth the time. You could buy collector editions now but it wont matter each game made now days is a fad and in 2 months the masses move onto the next game. 20 years from now are you going to pull out CoDMW 1 like people do to Mario Bros 1 2 3 I highly doubt it. And if you won't be thinking about it you wont be collecting it. Stay far away from handheld games and newer games theyare worth the most the day of release and crash in value everyday after.

They are alot more easy to fake than nes, super nintendo or n64 games =\

And even for the NES, I've seen fake games. Circuit boards and everything was fake and label and whatnot. :Z

I mean why wouldn't they if they can make fake rare games worth a few hundred bucks each right.. same reason as why people reseal games. Some got so good at it that it's almost impossible to tell.
