I need help willing to pay, but where do I go?

So I'm finally at the point where I can build a gaming rig, 2000-5000$ My only Issue is, I have no idea what i'm doing at all. I'm an EMT-P (paramedic) in the real world, I'm a very hands on, talk to someone, ask questions. I have an extremely hard time googling something I don't understand and going from there.

I need help for someone explaining how parts fit together, will help me pick out parts, and answer all my dumb questions, then week later there's building it. I've tried posting reddit, toms guides so on but it's too un personal, I need that interaction.

So this post is me asking where should I post this and do you think I would get a decent honest turnout?

    Post here:

    http://www.sythe.org/technology/

    Use http://pcpartpicker.com/

It will tell you what parts are compatible and what not, what do you plan on doing with this computer? $5000 is a hefty sum for a computer and you'd be able to get pretty much all of the best parts...

I'd be glad to help put together some custom builds for whatever you need.

As for as a different forum to post in, i like using linustechtips' forum, its very helpful.

If I was you I'd talk to Blupig, she's a QT when it comes to anything PC/Coding related.

Pretty much anyone who regularly views the forums would be willing to help you get passed any problems you come up on. Believe me when I tell you, it's way more simple than you'd think. To call building a PC "Adult Legos" is an overstatement. It's more of the shape game that babies play, assuming all parts are compatible.
