Heres a different question for all the doners who familiarize themselves with the lounge.
Should dicing even exist in Sythe?
It had grown quiet quickly in the past few weeks. It's resemblance to gambling is already an issue, then we all saw the people gotten banned due to refusing to pay in the end as well as those who had requested forum bans due to all the money they have lost.

Do you think is fine as long it remains in the doner lounge? Or do you think it shouldn't exist in Sythe at all?

Gambling exists virtually everywhere; both in the real world and online. Why shouldn't it exist on Sythe? There has been an enormous increase in activity these past few weeks due to forms of dicing.

People get banned all the time for scamming, whether it be dicing or not. Just like trading, only dice with people who are trustworthy or use a middleman. It boggles my mind seeing how many people are getting scammed daily because they dice with July/Aug 2013 users with less than 100 post count and 0 vouches. Not really sure what your argument here is?

Out of the hundreds of people that have participated in gambling/dicing, only one or two of them have requested forum bans...

This has been discussed before here: http://www.sythe.org/community-input/1614648-dicing-should-banned-allowed.html

I cant see dicing being removed anytime soon, since so many people are actively dicing. If someone gets scammed, in all fairness it's their own fault. Just like buying gold, accounts, services from anyone there are risks. I don't like the idea of people who're under age gambling. But I guess there isn't any way to stop it.

    > too active currently do be stopped.
    > get scammed = own fault
    > just as risky as any other transaction on Sythe

I have gotten at least 3 people banned for scamming already in dicing, imp waiting on someone to pay out a 100m too. Tbh I think it needs to be a little more protected, a lot of scammers IMO. Maybe make a certain number of days on the site to be ale to view the section and some posts.

most of the 'safe' dicing is held in the donor section. when I say 'safe' I clearly mean that scams still take place.

I agree with the majority of your publications, however, i personally feel it encourages and instigates a gambling addiction upon younger users who may have never gambled before. To me, it sets a bad impression upon young members.

"So does Runesape and many other virtual games". Yes, all of which i do not agree with either. However, here there is more of a possibility to gamble real money.

In my opinion, if you wish to gamble real money here you should be forced to provide proof you're old enough to gamble.

If their old enough for paypal, bank, money to gamble with then their old enough to gamble in general, its a good lesson for them to understand money and gambling
