For me, it was alright, a turn for the better, something that actually meant something, but it had some bad parts and somethings that really didn't fit in, but I guess he wanted to keep it that way.​

He probably couldn't afford the tattoos before..turning your body into a canvas like that can cost well over a thousand dollars.
Also I didn't like this song much better than anything else he has done but he does seem to be trying harder.

I don't feel bad for him at all. He's the biggest clown and now instead of coming out showing what he's really about, he's pussying out and crying about it.

I thought it was pretty cool. He's rapping about the problems he had trying to make his name in the game.
I used to think he was a douchebag, but after listening to this, I've gained a bit of sympathy for him. He was, after all, trying to get money to support his family, albeit in a cheap way. So don't hate on him for trying to get his foot in the door. I mean, look at any other mainstream rapper, they're lyrics aren't much different from Soulja Boy's earlier shit.

 

You're showing the prime problem with the video. Why should you feel bad for Soulja Boy when he disrespected the entire game by labeling his garbage ringtones as rap?

There are plenty of other ACTUAL rappers that are mainstream that can ACTUALLY rap. Their lyrics are obviously totally different

 

I totally agree with inventor about not feeling sorry for him, or for respecting him as a rapper, because he is like most of the new rappers Imo, they add some f&^k you ho, and a bit of rhythm and call it a rap.

Although i do kinda like the rhythm of the song, although its pretty obvious he doesn't mean a damn word of it =).

(Just my opinion, don't mean to offend any of the Soulja Boy fans, if that's the music your into, it shouldn't mean a thing if anyone else likes it, as long as you do)

Soulja Boy is one of the most overrated musical artists in the history of music. He single handedly killed Hip Hop. Only little kids, uneducated people, and people with no taste in good music listen to Soulja Boy.

Also he has the balls to say that NAS killed hip hop..Nas is a legend compared to this whack shit.
