I wouldn't say dead, as it's been pulled indefinitely, but it could come back sometime. But now, amazingly, we have to worry about ACTA - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Counterfeiting_Trade_Agreement

 

Supposedly it was only removed from vote because they're going to add a section regarding child pornography. No one is going to be against a bill that is anti-child porn.

That would actually be really smart of them to sneak in there....but seriously, I think the behind SOPA are just trolling us now.

 

Now need to kill ACTA for the sake of Europe.

The internet black-out really got a lot of peoples attention. Lets just hope we can keep it down in the dirt where it belongs.

 

Yeah, SOPA was just a bill to get people's attention. It had every intention of being pulled, so that they could sneak through ACTA and the Ex-Patriotism Act, which basically allows the Government to strip American citizens of their citizenship and punish them for an indefinite period of time because of accused "terrorists" which is defined by the government.

Yeah, the US government is fucking retarded, 2012 and the years to come mark a never before experienced shit-storm, and if Obama get's re-elected I will lose all faith in humanity.

The only hope to restore America and every other country affected by it is to have Ron Paul elected for 2012.

However, it hurts for me to say that America is not waking up, and Ron Paul may never get elected. Which would then lead for a crisis and probably the end of the world. No joke.

It's basically SOPA on steroids and it is pretty much global (all countries that sign the agreement)...

There isn't a campaign trying to stop it either because not a lot of people know about it.

Honestly, We are so fucked...

Also they already have a bill to do with child porn...I forget what it is called off the top of my head, but essentially it makes it so that your ISP has to save ALL of your web activity logs for 1 year...Basically it's just another way to keep track of people...
