I would start on getting some knowledge on the pen tool as it is definitely vital.

 

Hmmm, i really am thinking about getting PS but it's so expencive :,(

If i were to get it moon, think you would maybe give me some lessons :O?

Is PS something that i would want to start out doing graphic design on? or is there something else more basic i could start out using?

(i have a tendency to quit if things are too hard and confuse me, it's just kinda who i am)

 

Haha, no worries mate. I personally started using Gimp as it is pretty basic and is easy to use. Check it out here: http://www.gimp.org/

 

If photoshop CS6 is too expensive, you can download CS2, which was most of the features 6 does but with minimal space taken up on your hard drive and also it's completely free, and legal.

Just go to google and type in 'free photoshop cs2' and you'll find a site which you can download it using the serial code they give you.

The pen tool is vital, but you have to use it properly.
Do us all a favor and start off working in Illustrator. From experience the wide variety of tools just for this kind of work in illustrator is much greater than in PS, and moving text from Illy to C4D and to PS is truly a piece of cake

The N and the E are a bit annoying, and the H could use some work too. It reads naturally though, and that's what's important

 

Yeah it took me too long to draw it because i really just got back into drawing and really havn't tried drawing anything since. I was pretty proud of that tho because it looked good and flows nicely.

your drawing looks really good, but the only thing that looks a bit off is the n.

 

This took an hour? How many times did you erase and then re-draw? It looks like a good attempt, just need to add some color now

 

it took me like 15 mins to get the S drawn because i'm BAD at drawing any kind of block letter "s" xD but yeah i erased and re-drew a billion times to make sure it flowed well, even tho i still had some errors.
