Someone hacked my account (HELP)

Someone gave me a free runescape account. It has recovery questions and registered emails so I deleted email and changed to my email and changed recovery question so I left it and went to bed then recently I logged in my new free account, shocken he recovered it so i was like oh no, idc then trying to log in my real account but HE HACKED MY ACCOUNT.

How??? I didn't tell him recovery question, member information and registered email, but is it possible he trace my IPs and hack it? Help

 

Most likely he had the original IP and the original recovery information, have either of them guarantees the person a very high chance of them recovering it back. This is quite common with account giveaways.

 

You may have a keylogger, or entered your RS details elsewhere (Phishing sites).

 

I got his IPs, I am going to search his information.
