If you talk about paypal scam...Yeah, I got some tips to share with all legit paypal sellers:
What we sell is for virtual trade. So normally, it's out of paypal seller protection policy, so do buyers. when you deliver the gold. no post tracking id, what you need to do is careful and be more careful to deal with every buyer.
Here you need to catch some points.
when you got people's payment:
first of all, ask them to send email for payment confirm. thats what we do now: like Please send us confirmation email to (your paypal email ). you can write "I am the credit card owner, and I am sure the payment is sent with 100% legit, I confirm this order now.”Thanks for cooperation. (paypal would take this as evidence for paymnet authorization confirm )
2, call your customer for verification. and verify phone # through 411.com to check if it matches the billing address. you can see billing address in paypal transaction details.
3, ask the buyer take photo of identity like driving license, and card. If you feel the transcation is unsafe.
charge back only happens for credit card payer. if the payment is from paypal balance, no charge back, but dispute, and unauthorization case.
The best way is western Union though. no charge back, dispute... and western Union support debit card, credit card, bank transfer...
