Some more computer pranks.

Hey there everyone! In this tutorial I will be showing some cool pranks that you can pull on your friends. These pranks are super easy to do and super fun!
Soo here we go.

SORRY about the video quality, dunno why it's like that..I gotta figure that part out. :3 If you don't understand feel free to ask.

Index:

1. Remap the keyboard.
2. Removing the start menu button.
3. Upgrading to Vista.








Prank 1 - Remap your keyboard!
(In this prank we will be remaping the keyboard so it doesn't work exactly how it should. Example: When pressing the letter B, A appears on the screen instead. Now everytime your friend presses B an A will appear instead.)

Let's get started.


Step 1.
For step one we will be downloading a program, this program will help us do the prank. Click on this link and download the program: http://www.randyrants.com/sharpkeys3.msi

Step 2.
After you download the program and install it on your computer your gonna want to open it up.

Step 3.
When you open the program you will be taken to the main window, here the prank will be born. When the window opens go to the bottom left of it and click the "Add" button, this will allow you to remap the keys.

Step 4.
After you click "Add" a new window will pop up. In this new window you will see: Map this Key (From Key) & To this Key (To Key)

Go to the left side under "Map this Key (From Key)" and scroll through all the keys. Here you will choose what key will be changed. (So if you choose the letter F then another letter will appear instead when they type it depending on what you choose in the next step.

Step 5.
Go to the right side under "To this Key (To Key)" and scroll through all the keys just like the last step. The only difference here is that whatever key you choose here will be the new key for whatever key that you picked in the previous step. (So if you pick the letter R in this step then the letter F key will always make an R appear.)

Step 6.
Once your done choose the keys click "Ok" and then "Write to registry" and your done. All you need to do now is restart your computer and the effect will be there.




Prank 2 - Removing the start menu button.
(In this prank we will remove the start menu button. I think that's self explanatory.)

Step 1.
We will be downloading another program for this guide as well. Go here and download it: http://www.tordex.com/startkiller/start-killer.zip

Step 2.
Once you finish downloading the file open it up and choose one of the 2 installers. If you have a 32-bit computer choose the 32-bit installer and if you have a 64-bit computer then choose the 64-bit installer. If you don't pick the right one this prank will not work.

Step 3.
After the installation is complete just run the program and the start menu button should disappear. If you want it to come back again simply go to the task bar and look for the knife icon then right click it and click "Exit"






Prank 3 - Upgrading to Vista.
(We will use a program that opens up when you start the computer and looks like the upgrade for vista. Your friends will not be able to close it and will have to go on with the "installation" now knowing that it's a prank.)

Step 1.
First we need to download a program once again so click this: http://www.rjlpranks.com/download.cfm?d=84

Step 2.
When you finish downloading the zip file your gonna need to extract it to the "STARTUP" folder on your computer.

This is how you do that:

> Start Menu > All Programs > Look for "Startup" > Right click "Startup" and choose "Open" > When the folder open go to the address bar on top and copy the location > Go to the zip file that you downloaded and right click it and choose the "Extract Files" option > A window will pop up and your gonna be asked too choose the directory > Just paste the address that you copied earlier into the text box and hit okay..

Step 3.
Now when your friend turns on his computer again it will automatically start this update and he will have to sit there and go through all the steps. :3

Very nice guide, is there anyway to do this from say your computer to your friends computer. Like some kind of link you could send them on msn that puts the data on there computer and runs it.
