~~ Basic Spanish ~~
This guide will tell you many of the basic things that you will need to know to get along in a Spanish speaking place. You may think that this guide is useless, because of the many Spanish translators available on the Internet. Although these translators can be useful for single words, they tend to fail grammar-wise if you try to use phrases. I realize that I have left out some accents and what-not, but this guide is meant mainly for speaking purposes.

VIII. Tu Vs.Usted
Tu and Usted both mean “you”. The difference between Tu and Usted is familiarity. If you are speaking to a peer, you would use tu. In almost all other cases: Teacher, boss, parents, or anyone older or superior than you, usted is used. When in doubt, use usted. Saying tu when you should say usted is a really good way to piss seomone off.
There you have it. You are not fluent, but you know enough to make a little small talk or find the bathroom. I am very new to guide making and would love any feedback you could give ESPECIALLY IF I HAVE MADE ERRORS. I’m only human, it happens L. If there is anything that you think I should add please tell me. Please no flaming.
