Soccer or Football?

Which is your personal favorite and why? By Football I mean American Football. By Soccer I mean the sport that you kick a ball in.

Mine is soccer, because it is fun and it has all sorts of different moves and tricks that make the game exciting. I also like to watch soccer. For most people it may seem real boring, but it's real exciting if you know which team are good.

 

I don't understand the question, it's the same thing. Unless you mean that silly game where the foot actually touches the ball two times per game...

I'd like to know how football is soft when theres people who get broken bones, and sometimes permanent paralyzation from those big hits.

Ok. A kickabout with mates in the park is acceptable... But, professional level? It's a bunch of sweaty Italian puffs chansing a ball about and diving on the floor.

Whilst playing rugby one of my team-mates at under 15 level last year broke his shoulder in a tackle and didn't get subbed. In my uncles team, there was two broken necks in one season. Trust me, compared to rugby, American football is for fags. Rugby is the same as American football, but without the armour.

To english people football is soccer.

Ill take it that football is ment to stand for american football, soccer is a much better sport in my opinion.

Futbol or Soccer as we American's say. NFL is ok to watch but I find futbol more exciting. I also prefer to play soccer as it's much easier to get a game going with friends.

 

Futbol is spanish, it's not the correct spelling for everywhere else.

Never said it was. But it is easy to recognize from football because most American's are stupid and wouldn't normally.

 

Soccer. More exercise and more fun.

 

Even though I'm Australian (we call it soccer here too), I prefer NFL, I played soccer in a team before but I really like passing and Madden.
