Soo I got scammed 600m..

Well I borrowed a maxed account of a user on here (now banned) once I was on the account I xfered my bank (265m) I turned that into 600m in about 10minutes. Then suddenly I got disconnected tried to log back in and the account was locked.

I didn't think you could get a account locked that quickly. So I guess I learnt the lesson the hard way and just a warning to you guys. Don't borrow accounts because the owners can lock on command pretty much.

Well he wasn't very trusted on sythe. But he had brought gp and a lot of other things of me in that same day and I've trusted him with quite a lot of money. He sounded real legit . But I guess that he just got greedy. Lesson learned I guess.

I didn't think people could get there accounts locked that fast though? Thought you had to send an appeal into jagex and it takes a few hours.

 

You should have rented my account mate i wouldnt have done that to you =0 Sorry about your loss mate. Be carefull in the future.

 

Alot of people will do things like that intentionally to gain your trust, and then go for a big scam. This sounds like that this guy did to you. Unfortunately on Sythe there are more scammers than legit people, so be very careful who you are trading with if you are doing an EXTREMELY risky transaction for the buyer, like buying/borrowing accounts. Accounts can always be recovered and so you should never buy from anybody unless you either know them in real life and can kick their ass if they recover, or if its a very trusted member on Sythe (hundreds of vouches for acc sales, mod etc.).

And about the acc being locked so fast - There is a method of getting an account locked instantly, which people often do when they are trying to remove recoveries before selling an account. This is most likely what the guy did... I think you file a recovery form with lots of wrong info (something like this lol) but some of the info correct, and jagex instantly locks the account. If you are the legit owner, people then recover the account immediately after with ALL the real info, and they get the account back with the recovery questions automatically removed.

This may have been what the guy did to get the account instantly locked, and then he recovered right after to get it unlocked. Not 100% sure but this would be my best guess.

 

I am real clued up about scammers. I'm not usually this careless I just didn't think there was a way to lock an account instantly I thought once I was on it I was good until I logged out so I was just about to go and drop trade the gp and not log off once.

Someone did tell me this site was full of greedy scammers and now I believe him. I'm not too fussed about losing the 600m because I only paid for 50m of it and worked up to 600m in a few days so no harm done I guess.

People are always trying to scam people this way. Giving away account and hoping people put shit on them

 

I realized this. This is why I wasn't going to log out of account until i xfered the cash back to my account. But that backfired.

 

Classic. This is what brought me to the realization that i should never, ever put forth time and prosper on any account but one of my own.

I've always been predominantly a merchanter on RS, since the early years. It didn't occur to me that i should just suck it up and make my own main from the very depths of tutorial island until about the sixth purchased account that i had spend months racking up in funds only to be stripped from me.

 

To be honest I didn't think that too.. I thought it would take at least an hour or so. It'll be alright though, just borrow accounts from people with 100+ vouches or make a boxer of your own account!

all i can say is where do scammers get off i mean seriously where is the satisfaction from gaining from someone elses loss its absolutely outrageous if you ask me

also studies that those who strive to hurt others and benefit from it will often end up sad and lonely and thats all you sad scammers out there

 

To lock an account, all you do is recover it with the correct info. When you get the email saying recovery successful, the account is locked until you put the new password on it with the given link.

 

Wow that does suck man. Lesson learned though: NEVER transfer gold/rares onto another account. I actually did this once on an account and put a santa and a couple of easter eggs as I wanted to spread my rares but a few minutes later I realized and thought of the future risks and just transferred it back. One month later account gets recovered and locked.

Only put shit on your own accounts that you made and only you logged on and nobody else.

 

You're cheating by buying accounts/gold (?) on an online game, where is the satisfaction in that? You have no right to talk.

 

Lol not all bought/rented accounts are insecure. A customer of mine was showing me his luring/dicing vids on an account he bought from me. Said he got 20b on it now, and I still didn't recover.

 

Yep, you can trust almost no one, that's not news.

They used locked instead of changing pass because locked does indeed kick you off the game.

 

Yeah getting it lock/recovered is quick as. Usually it takes me 20minutes to recover my account.

 

dangs man , i feel sorry for your loss 600m is quite a bit of money. Thats why you only buy from trusted members man.
