You know, deathmetal, dethcore, grindcore, etc etc. Well, I got into it a couple months ago, now I love it. Wondering if anyone else likes it. Some bands I like are The Irish Front, Elysia, Job for a Cowboy, Glass Casket, Suffokate, and tons more.

Dethklok is like, sort of a mainstream type thing but it's alright.

I seriously laughed at this, you have things like Job for a Cowboy on your list and your ragging on Detkhlok for being mainstream?

How can you listen to that? Literally, makes me sick. They scream so loud, you can't hear how shitty the lyrics and the guitars are. This is where I like to use the word "Crap".

I don't like Death Metal, some Melodic Death Metal, but not that much. I mostly listen to Metalcore and Thrash Metal.

For these genres of music I'm mostly into the guitar riffs and quick drums, the vocals are okay, but not awesome.

These are pretty good Metalcore/Thrash Metal bands:
    As I Lay Dying
    All that Remains
    Lamb of God

Lmfao, stick to the spam forum because it's evident you know nothing of Musical Theory or music as a whole. Although I' am not saying the bands Ninja listed were any good (far from it to be exact), the thought of you generalizing anything brutal as crap is beyond me.

    Exhibit A

    Lyrics as follows:

    the son ov morn
    what made me so divine?
    I, transcending ecstasy through ecstasy
I who am eternally defined by my Will

behold I am the spawn ov downcast Ariman
awakened, yet am no longer human
    kindle me to Thy rapture
    as I descend into Sheol

    Hiva! hear my call!
    transform my flesh into flame
    Hiya! hear my cry!
sustain my being in million-fold forms

    our creed: the living flesh
our law: trespass all the laws
    since NUIT is our refuge
    and HADIT becomes our light

    all stirs within
tis chaos in and above me
    in the world ov nether-nether
    "I" infinite space is all-consuming

    behold! I am unending!
the conciousness ov "I" shines universally
    unbound by wretched dogma
    I spew my will forth!
    hell is democracy!

    all things exist in me
I believe in naught save myself
    my sermon steadfast and proud:
there is nothing but god in me!

    all things stir in me
    with joy and suffering
    my sermon steadfast and proud:
there is nothing but god in me!

Shitty guitars? HA! In all honesty I'd love to see you attempt to play this song just so I could see how you fail so miserably.

Lyrics? Please, these lyrics invoke more literary thoughts than the mainstream garbage you listen to.

Not a lot of it it for lyrics. And the guitars and can be amazing so fuck off with your stereotyped mind.

    Also, that's your opinion, datsyuk.

I love Death and Black metal.

Some Melodeath is excellent too, for example, In Flames or CoB.

I'm actually surprised no-one has mentioned Morbid Angel yet ...

    My favourite 5:

    1. Death
    2. Morbid Angel (these two are practically the "founding fathers" of Death Metal)
    3. Behemoth
    4. Children of Bodom
    5. In Flames

    edit:

Vocals are amazing. The guitars and drums are insane.

For those who say this has no meaning:

I can't really say I enjoy it. The riffs seem a bit repetitious. Unless it added in a different voice for screaming somewhere through the middle, I couldn't listen to the entire song.

I love more like Screamoish music such as Bring me the horizon, but if you like "brutal" thrash music
    Waking the Cadaver
blood splatter satisfaction, search it on youtube if you want
I believe you need to have an account 18+ to watch it.

Thanks guys for the feedback :)

I'll try listening to some of the bands but it will take a while to pick through them.
