Flippers abuse it on a small scale, clans abuse it on a large scale. Both scenarios take advantage of the GE and its flaws, but abuse is abuse, regardless of your method ; )

I don't think flipping is "abuse" whatsoever, you're buying and selling an item.
Large scale clan "merchanting" is abuse twords lower players ( idiots really ) who end up with junk. There is a difference.

I'm not personally attacking you, but you must admit that clan merchanting is much more "devious" then personally flipping.

Well flipping you buy an item for low, and sell it for higher. Guess who buys that item at the higher price? A normal player. Clan merching is a more "blatant" form of manipulation, but its the same offense IMO.

See above. Additionally, at least with my clan that I use, I and the other clan owners have never dumped stock on the clan before the dump price: we always ride the merch to the peak then dump it with rares on other merchers.

I hope he shows the profit once he's done merching that one item, that would be a must see picture. Kind of scary and interesting to think about how this will turn out.

Ill end with up with 5B crashing junk. However I have another mule account with 800m that ill store a few rares on to dump the junk with ; )

 

Oh. So in the end you have to inject some amount of USD into the merch in order to have it work for you...

Of what order are the rares? Pumpkin/egg? or Phat?
