Hey guys, I'm new (could you have guessed?!).

I remember creating this account a few months ago, but never got around to using it. I'm looking to become a part of this community in the long-term.

A quick question I do have: if I wanted to earn vouches from other members (I plan to buy and sell RSGP in the future but obviously, nobody is going to trust a newcomer) what is the best way to go about this? I want to build a reputation which will clearly take time to build, but I don't know where to start.
 
Thanks for the help, CreativeNub. :) I was considering a service, but are there any risks associated with IP addresses or anything I should be wary of?
 
Welcome dude.

Best way to go about it, probably start with low amounts of RSGP trades. Prove your trust, talk to people, get people to know you and realise who you are. When they know who you are, it's up to them whether or not they think you're a trustable person.

If you want instant trust, then donate a lot of money. People will trust you up to that amount, which I think is stupid, but it's what most goldsellers do.

Could you specify a bit more? If you mean '' Do I risk my own Runescape account? '' by logging in with other accounts on your ( thus the same ) IP, the answer is no :)

Hello, freaky. :) Thanks for the advice. So, if I was to sell say 50M RSGP, relying on them paying first, would I get any sales? Ideally, I'd love to jump right in but I would understand people not trusting me.

Like Freaky said, most of the people would trust you if you'd donate enough. So 50M = ~25$, so if you'd donate 50$, most people wouldn't really have a problem trading with you ( as in going first ). However trading is not only a story of one or the other going first, there are Middlemans to assist you in trading, and you could always trade in increments. Also I'd like to warn you for Paypal chargebacks, it's a wise thing to not take Paypal as a payment option from people who you don't deem trusted.

OK, I think I will go about donating before beginning anything, in that case. I'm willing to use MMs for my first few trades anyway. I'm from the UK, so what other payment options can I use? I've heard Western Union is good, but I'm not entirely sure if I have to physically collect the money or whether I can use it the same way as Paypal?

I'm from the UK too. I'm not a big time seller, but Kenpen is. I know he is the number one UKBT (uk bank transfer) gold trader on Sythe. Hook him up, sure he could help you.
