Snow Patrol Banned

Hello Moderator Team,

Noticed I was banned. Looking through the where did X go thread, it seems as if the hacker had scammed someone for 300m OSRS but I was unable to find the details in the Report-A-Scammer. I had taken off 2FA since I got a new phone and the authenticator app was on the old phone, was meaning to add it again on the new phone but never got around to it. Wondering what my options are at this point, but I think it's safe to say that the "Not active in marketplace" badge should be added to the account. Let me know.

current rate is approx 1.15/m for bulk so $827.

 

@Yankiee I think a few people also mentioned something but didn't make a thread so I want to check to confirm thats all the debt there is.

 

Wow, unfortunately I can not pay back the individuals that were scammed, and I'm sorry to everyone that was affected. I should have been much more proactive when swapping 2FA's between phones, and apologize for my lack of urgency.

Little disappointed that everyone thinks this is a scamquit, but I'm sure the moderator team can clear that misconception up through IP trails.

 

That is a shame. Any idea on how they gained access to your Skype account though?

 

The skype account was not mine, I did not have one listed since it kept getting hacked (people were calling in and social engineering customer service reps). I went through about 4 Skype accounts in 6 months and decided to no longer publicly list it and only sent it via PM to people who wanted me to OMM for them.

Not sure how they hacked my Sythe account, the email associated is unlisted and I still have access to it. My trading email from back in the day ([email protected]) was also hacked, so I'm assuming they somehow used that to get into my Sythe account. Once they had access to my Sythe account, they were sending PM's to individuals with an imposter Skype account.

 

Your option is to repay the people who got scammed because you couldn't take 30 seconds to re-enable your 2factor. Since you're unwilling to do that, that's the end of you here
