Smuggled Dungoneering items on Sythe

I want to buy smuggled Dung stuff, but I am a little hesitant. I don't want to buy a Dung item only to have it disappear when I equip it a week later when Jagex decides to patch it, or get banned for having a smuggled item. What is your experience with Dung items?

 

I believe they won't patch this one. I mean they would have done it already since they really do know about it and patched mostly everything else. Safe to say it would be alright to keep one. There are still people who have full dungeoneering armour on, anti dragon shield etc.

 

You won't be banned for owning smuggled items.

I've had a rather large collection (50+ different items) now ever since the CFT was found and dung items were first smuggled.

I've had no ban and no sort of punishment at all.

 

I think they don't ban since it's already been months.

 

I would assume they would only ban if you abused the bug in a way which would actually affect the game. Having a few items on your account like that wouldn't really do anything.

 

in worse case scenario the person you bought it from would be banned all you would have to do is play dumb and say you thought it was a new item etc.
