You might be correct as I am 15 , but truly I understand.

Family

I read alot hence comes my opinion.
Try and stay out of the "system" and stress will be greatly reduced.
System: credit card debts , paying in quotes , dont get me wrong I understand this is amazingly hard seeing as today 99% of the people are in the system.

 

Again, You don't understand. You don't pay monthly bills, you don't drive, you don't have to pay back loans, etc.

In a way I do understand, at the moment I live alone with my little sister and mother , me and my sibling go to a private school etc.
I am working and using the money I win in investments ive currently invested 4.000$ and have comeout with 4.900$.
I do this to help my mom mainly. I only keep the 10% of my winnings.

 

At first I smoked for social reasons, but I quickly became addicted. I let it take control of me. It was helpful at reducing stress from work, but took a toll on my health. Good ole medicine fixed my addiction, though.

I smoke cigarettes to increase my high. I do agree is smells and tastes like shit and it's bad for you, but I like to get high

I've had weed a few times, and I smoke cigarettes, like a pack a week, can't afford more. I try to keep it discreet, only my little brother knows, and I don't do it in public, just out the window. I might quit cigs for weed when I get older.

 

There are other and cheaper ways to relieve some stress which depends on the person. Some people do a sport or jog to relieve some stress and others play videogames or sleep/eat/anything really. I understand that some people smoke but I feel sorry for them. They could do so much more with that money.

 

i dont mind smokin since ive been smokin for 4 years i know its noting to be proud of.

 

I smoked for 5-6 years and then just one day decided to quit once I realized how expensive and incredibly stupid it is, and that I'm sure as hell not willing to die for that crap. Ironically I have way less stress now than when I smoked because: I sleep better, I don't get uncomfortable and stressed if I haven't had a smoke in an hour, food tastes better, I have more money to spend on other things and I just overall feel way better.

 

I don't smoke, nor have I in the past but I think It's cool to be able to do something with your hands. If they weren't addictive and were good for you, I'd probably smoke them but I don't plan on starting but I may try weed.

 

Both my parents smoke used to be a period in history when it was actually "cool"
I don't think I'll start smoking only because I want to excel at tennis, and its just not attractive to me :S

I'll smoke every once in a while. More or less a social thing it really depends on how i'm feeling that day.

Smoking can be bad for you but it's you're life who is some one else to tell you how to live it.
