Smoking weed in college

I didnt smoke as much weed until I went to college. When I went to college I went from smoking rarely to everyday and sometimes twice a day and everyone on campus knew a way to get some. My question is why is it that people smoke more in college than in highschool? I lived on a somewhat small campus so most of the time there wasnt alot to do.

 

You have a lot more free time and you don't have your parents around to worry about.

I didn't smoke anything in high school, and I still don't smoke anything in college, so that pretty much breaks your logic right there. Maybe if you spent half the time you did getting high, you could actually do something constructive...

 

Your parents were around to tell you what not to do. But when your around pressure in college and no one to tell you whats wrong, you will test your freedom.

 

Study, and you will not have so much free time.

college is more stressful and without authority figures around to tell you not to, you will ease your stress with weed.

imo, studying while smoking weed is 10x easier than studying without it.

I smoked a lot when i first started Highschool but its a waste of money for me I got to many things to worry about.

I'm going to college the year after next so I may start smoking again but not a lot because weed makes you dumb as hell. Don't flame me for that cause I like getting high but it does make you stupid.

 

Cuz your more independant....most of the time you got high in HS you were shit worried what would happen if you got cought. tbh right now in texas if you get cought smoking either

A. Cop takes it away and gives fine
B. Cop smokes with you
C. Cop rapes you if your a hot female and tells you he will kill you if you tell anyone
D. Cop takes it home and smokes it.

A happens more often than any others but B happened to me when i was at park

sure, a lot of people who smoke do not appear to be intelligent. then again, a lot of people who do not smoke do not appear to be intelligent.

 

Im talking about during the high, dont tell me you would smoke before a big test and actually want to be high. It affects everyone differently I know but mostly it makes you lazy since like you said it reduces stress.

 

I never smoked before a test but I would go to class high

 

I haven't done that yet but I'm already lazy enough to know that if I'm high in class literally no work would get done.

 

i have been to many classes and tests a lil stoned. it usually just makes me less edgy and therefore less likely to second guess my memory.
