    Didn't really know where to post this, but I recently got two of my wisdom teeth out (Monday). And my dentist said not to smoke because of the possibility of dry socket. She didn't specify how long so I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with this.

    Just curious.

    To be 100% safe, wait 2 weeks if you can. If you can't, 48 hours should be fine but you still have a risk.
