Small suggestion

Hey guys. this is my first time doing a suggestion, that I think it would improve the site:

I recently read the newcomers guide located here: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?p=11935750#post11935750

It looks very nice and also helpfull but it would be better if you guys also added it around the introductions section or the community general, so when newcomers introduce theirselves they can also see the guide there

Sorry for the possible spelling mistakes, please correct me if you saw any (I will appreciate it)

An even better alternative would be to have that automatically send a private message containing that to every new member that registers with the site. So it appears in the PM box upon registering.

It could go in Introductions, though I don't think Community General is necessary.

 

May be a good idea, but not everyone introduces themselves, I didn't even look in the introductions forum for my first 2 months.

 

Agreed, I've seen this feature on MANY other forums. Having it here on Sythe.Org sounds like a great idea. Also, kudos to Roary for writing that wonderful guide
