I am one of those Vampires who sleep all day, wake up around 7pm have a shower brush my teeth and start my day/night,

I know this is unhealthy and I am starting to think I may have depression..
I have thought long and hard about this and I have concluded that mild depression is just severe lethargy and lack of motivation in life.

Does anyone else feel or experience this?

I used to be a popular guy but then I turned anti social and now I am a professional Vampire.

You're suffering from insomnia. Forcing yourself to stay up when you're tired will eventually fix your sleeping pattern gradually as the days go by. We've all gone through depression in our lifetime(or will eventually). Lack of determination will make it worse. If you want to break free from it, you will have to apply yourself to a path of positivity.

Good advice, My problem right now is I am 20 and when people ask me what I'd like to become I literally have no idea of which pathway to take

It's common for people around your age to not have a set plan in life. I'd suggest making a list of probable jobs you would consider applying for, and look at the requirements for each job. If a job of high priority is on your list that has requirements you have not yet accomplished, try aiming to complete those. This is a surefire way to kick start your life. The rest will mold in.

I think I have a lot of personal issues to overcome, I am really lacking that get up and go since I've been living on my own (which has been 3 years) feeling really lost, but I am wondering if its a chemical imbalance in my brain causing these issues.

What are you currently doing? Job, college?

I get like this during holidays, and it does bout me into further depression because I feel very un-fulfilled in particular.

Get active, search for a job, make more of an effort mate. Hope things get better :)

Also you probably don't have insomnia.

That's not insomnia, sounds like a messed up sleep pattern because you have no reason to be up when the sun rises.

wake up around 7pm have a shower brush my teeth and start my day/night

Exactly what do you do during the night?

I used to have a rather messed up sleeping pattern myself because I was setting my own time to work, that and I lived so close to work they could call me whenever. I was up till the sun came up because I binge watching TV shows.

I do exactly that lol, and play runescape it's a pretty sad life i'm living

You don't get your full sleep's worth if you try sleeping against your natural body clock. You should try alter your sleeping pattern slowly, changing it at once can be hard. As for runescape... try cutting down. I had something similar to this just after my exams, and after time you realise it's not worth it.

I think we've all had our fair share of doing this, I honestly love being awake at night time, maybe because it's so quiet and I can just be in my own little "zone" - But, ever since getting a job and having to look after myself that's just not possible anymore, there's nothing pathetic or sad about it and people who say have no idea what they're talking about, I don't regret the few months I stayed up all night and slept all day because I enjoyed it, I didn't neglect my health for it or hygiene and it seems like you're not either, so as I said enjoy it while you can because soon life will be knocking and you'll need a normal sleeping pattern like everyone else.

Haha that's actually shined some positive light onto things, I used to be a bar man and after work I literally couldn't do anything but sleep, then I'd naturally be awake for work in the morning. I think yea it must be the fact I am not really doing anything productive or I have nothing to wake up to.

Also what you said about enjoying the night time, I do also it's my time and I love going out at crazy hours in the morning where the streets are deserted.

Yeah it's do-able, I think I've been getting confused because people are shocked by my current lifestyle, like its a thing to look down upon this has had me question myself, kinda had me thinkin "is this a serious issue or just a blip in my life which I will overcome". Or I could just be a natural vampire ;)

It's not that bad for me but it tends to happen during holidays.
Usually I stay up until 6 am and wake up around 2 pm. I rather have a healthy sleep schedule though :(

You're so addicted that it's kept you passed your normal sleep time enough that you now sleep in the morning and wake up at night. You need to realize that you'd spend just as much time on Runescape if you were awake in the morning.

If you're really concerned and want to go back to the normal sleeping pattern, discipline yourself. It's 1-2AM, tell yourself next time you'll sleep and you can play RS again tomorrow. Try either sleeping earlier or later every time until you're back to the normal up in the morning and sleeping at night.

I think discipline is key, because I have no responsibilities right now I'm living everyday like its summer break, I gotta get back on the real life grind and build a more productive routine.

I find myself doing this a lot. It takes me a couple days to get back on schedule comfortably.

Day 1 stay up until noon then fall asleep.

Day 2 stay up until maybe 4pm and fall asleep

Day 3 stay up until 10pm and fall asleep

Use caffeine to make it, gl.
