Slayer = Profitable?

I just saw "Venus" who posted this in a nearby thread:

I was just wondering, how do you make so much with slayer? I have a nearly maxed 124, but never really looked or tried slayer. Which slayer master would you recommend for a maxed acc? And how many hours a day do you think Venus plays to make that 150m?

Any other info would be great. Thanks in advance.

 

I have 85 slayer currently and it does make a lot of money if you have the time. Most of the tasks give good loot level 70+ and you can make a steady 500k+ an hour with different tasks.

 

Which master do you go to?

 

Use the highest master you can.

 

I go to Kuradel when I slay but Duradel also gives good tasks.

 

If you have a yak dragon or demon task, yaking the bones and hides can get 1m+ per trip, then you got your other tasks like abyss demons, getting staff of light drops.. Also random herbs , I wouldn't say you will clear 150m a week but you easily make steady cash

 

I'm pretty wealthy on runescape, but am currently maxing out the first ever account i made.

I started slayer at 80 i'm currently at 84 and have made well over 48m

It's not alot to me but it's something.

 

I HIGHLY doubt someone could make 150M in a week solely through slayer, even if they played 12 hours a day. From 75-86 slayer I only made around 30M in random drops, using Kuradel for assignments.

 

use highest master that you can, and you never really get a certain amount of money from slayer, some tasks are good and some cost you money

 

Maybe she banks everything? bones, hides, whatever else

 

that or dsj fighting a good slayer monster that the drop is really up right now like how cave horrors used to be ...by through slayer dsj might have ment a monster accessed by slayer

 

From around 77 to 87 slayer i made around 150m. This could just be due to luck ? ( 2 visages which were 30m+ at the time). But overall it is quite profitable.

 

I made around 50M getting 74-85. It's all luck to be honest.
