Meh.. I hate skaters pompous attitude, and how they try to act "hardcore".

However, the police were taking it too serious, the skaters should have left when told to, so they brought it upon themselves.

 

i skate and its a fun hobby, but where i live cops dont mess with any one idk y but yeh the skaters started it, but it is safer to skate on a sidewalk then to be in a street or any thing cuz ppl dont pay attention to skaters and ive almost got hit by a car because a lady was FLYING down my street.....

Idc what those guys were doing, that was an example of stupidity that only some cops seem to have. They get so into their "protect and serve" status that they can hardly define nessesary force and brutality. They only see that someone has broken a law, they think with there badge instead of their head.

cops were out of line. people make a much larger deal about skateboarding than it is for example in ann arbor it's a 50$ fine for smoking pot and 150$ for skating

 

one day youll do something like jaywalking and if the cops beat the shit out of you for it then you will see how stupid the copos were acting

i was sk8ing the city on go skateboarsding day...mostly relaxed, cops came round 5 and every1 jus left no big deal


i had a experience like this b4 bout 2 yrs ago got arrested for sk8ing and had to sit in a cell for like 4 hours


bottom line is cops are jackasses in the us

 

Skaters own all, its a funthing to do, and just because I wear tight jeans and all black and skate people think im some crazy bad kid its fucked up lol. All i wanna do is skate and have fun i dont have to be distructive.

 

It doesn't matter whether he's a COP or not. A cop shouldn't ever do that. The guy was right. They were riding a peice of wood with four wheels on it down the street. So, basically, if that wood were metal, it'd be okay. That's basically what a car is. This is pathetic.

I was skating today, and almost got stopped by a cop with four of my friends. We didn't, though.

This is blasphemy. He's not the ruler of the world, so he was WAY out of line. The skaters didn't START anything ..

SAME, I skate for the love of it and just being able to skate around. but I don't hate cops cause they havent messed with me, but those cops went to far but the skaters shouldn't have ran. I agree with alot of what you said though andI see your views on that one

 

I agree with you 100% on skateboarding being a hobby but its when there is a sign that says trespassers not aloud or no skating aloud, something to that extent, but its when skaters do skate on grounds that there not a loud on when it becomes a problem. stick to parks there 95% better than anything you'll find dowtown.

 

To all of you who say "Skateboarding isn't a crime!1!!1" You need to realize something. Skateboarding IS A CRIME!! If you skateboard in a public place, you are breaking the law and you deserve whatever the cop deems necessary.

The cop was waaay out of line. He Put his arms around a girls neck.. for what.. Riding a piece of wood down the street. That cop is a total badass he probably feels tough.
