Skateboarding Help! Kickflip.

For those of you who skate, have skated or just know how to.. i need help on kickflip...

I can almost always Flick correctly, but i have trouble landing:

I'm always beside the board after the board lands, i can't manage 2 stay on it.

 

Place your back foot on the tail and your front foot 3/4 towards the front with your front foot toes only on the board and ollie and slide your front foot forward and off your board. Kind of hard to explain... Ill maybe post a video later.

couple tips:

to make the board level in the air ur front foot slides up the grip tape

for beginners the easy way to do it is put ur toe at the very edge of the board but that way it looks silly the way i do it i put my foot in middle of board and make it look steezy

best advice to give is keep trying, from my experiences i learned that if u spend more time then others learning trick, yours will b more stylish wen u finally learn it. So really its better to take a while to learn trix

its allways best to be rolling at the amount of speed thats right for you.
dont try not moving its very diffacult.

There are some good videos on youtube of how to perfect kickflips and i'm sure there was someone with a similar problem.

 

simple..
square your shoulders over your board (the bolts) and lean forward.. practice on carpet first or grass ;P

 

Bumps. Been trying 4 ages, still can't get it.

 

No Bumping.

If you need it to spin faster, then move your foot more to the side then forwards. Try practising the movement without a board. It all needs to be a fluid movement.

 

Ollie and when ur sliding ur foot up, just slide it kinda diagonal

 

Buy a car. Driving is much more fun.

 

i loled hard irl,

start with your foot coming off the board closer, then slide it more and more off the board kinda, hard to explain but don't end up with your foot coming off the top of the boad in the middle...

Hang your foot off of the board more.

 

when u slide ur heel, make sure to flick ur foot near the nose

 

Youtube is your best option so you could watch video's

instead of instrcutions much easier <3

I found the source to my problem - I CAN'T FUCKING FLICK.

 

if u cant get the roatation all the way try bringing your foot towards the tail more. you dont need sound to see how its done lol suggest youtube and just type in learn kickflip and im sure they have it slow motion

 

It's the back foot, put it in the center of the tail and when you pop go straight down rather than to the left or right. When the front comes up a bit slide the front foot and flick down and out. Pull both knees up and wait for it to rotate.

 

Wow, it's 1 of the easiest trick's. But all you have to do is, place your foot on the back of the "tail", then put your left foot on the middle/middle part of the board. Then pop the board as if you were to do an Ollie, then you "slide" your foot accross the top part of the board. Then as you go up keep your knees bent while in the air. Then bend and land on the board as you go down. There you go! @@@@@@@
