I think some experienced market mods or someone who knows that they are talking about should participate in some of the price check topics,

Since we can't post price checks anywhere but the sticky, which rarely gets looked at by normal users anyway, I think a mod should take the time to answer some of these. Or maybe not one mod but just a collective effort of all to check every so often.

There hasn't been a price check answered for 2 weeks.....

EDIT: Also, I don't think pictures are necessary since the person is not selling their account. And personally I don't believe Jagex will just not look at this site. I'm sure a multi-million dollar company has more than enough resources to ensure they make profit on their game (stopping cheaters/account sales). Maybe I'm wrong, but Pen please cite your sources for your statement, I would like to be re assured before I blatantly put my account information out to the public.

 

It's open up for anyone who want's to check them. It's not really anyone's responsibility to do so.

 

I never said or even hinted it was anyones reponsibility. Simply suggesting that the one's who spend the most time on the site/section should try and make the site a little better by helping users questions. Unless you're just in it for the title and the authority?

but again I go to clean up the section and try to rid of all spammers/scammers not to spend all day giving someone a false estimate on an account they probably won't end up selling.

 

Yeah I can see how it helps. But still I think someone should re announce that section is there or just have the mods check up because honestly, i would rather someone like you answers than some leecher with 5 posts saying it's worth half what it is. Granted, I am a leecher

I'll start looking at that thread more often too. I wasn't aware it was backed up so badly.

 

Gohan helps wherever help is needed. Some things have a high priority than others and Price checking isn't one of then.

Well help is needed, right now, from me. Second, that doesn't help me in any way, spam.

Because the last 3 letters are the same? Please, get smarter. They can check the ip's and then you can suck it dry. Oh, and that was irrelevant, spam.

Oh and thats making a false accusation with no proof. Which I believe is another infraction.

I don't know if we could make pictures not needed. Then, what's to stop them from spamming that thread for post count? I could make up some bullshit stats and simply ask for a price check.

 

mods and other staff members are busy everyday. They have their own section they have to moniter regardless to reading public pms. Maybe a staff member will read ur pm but will not have time to reply to it or forget to go back to it. yes but i do agree that more players should get into the price check, but it seems that the people who know how much items are will not be looking through there. in the future ill try to help out every couple of hours in that thread.

All excuses. I want to see results, more help. Not excuses why people shouldn't help. It's all just disguised laziness.

EDIT:If a mod is gonna separate a section (price check), giving an unfair disadvantage to those posters (no one reads pc section), then those mods should go to make sure the consumers of this website (the forum members who view the ads) are being taken care of. This isn't an elementary school where you can just pass the buck and say "not my job", this is a business and it's clientele should be accommodated. Any other excuses are just retarded. That's like if you were in a hotel pool and a maintenance member saw you drowning and just said oh, well im not a lifeguard so fuck it ill keep walking. Just utter laziness and anyone who condones that behavior can be seen as such also

I believe that we should have a specific person or few people to do it, who can be pm'ed with links, and they can get an approximate worth for it. I'd love to do it, as i price accounts a lot, and i think having a "account pricer" to price your account could be something useful to add in your thread when selling.
