Silver07 - Open source RS2007 / Oldschool Client

An admin posted like 3rd post on this thread, and said it looks like a good client, to which I also replied. Looks like those posts have been deleted sometime during the summer, and yeah, it sounds fishy, but I'm not talking bs. I have no idea why they were deleted, and if I remember right, the poster was n4n0.

There are a few ways. The easiest is to have a firewall on your computer and when the application asks for internet connection, you can check which ip address it tries to access. If it's not runescape's IP then don't press allow. You see, the only way to transfer login credentials to hackers is to transfer it over the internet. Second way, which takes a little longer, is to download the source code of this client from http://sourceforge.net/projects/silver07/files/Silver07_sourcecode.zip/download and read through the source code to see if there is something malicious. You won't find any, but if you think the .exe is not built from this source code, you can also build it yourself using vb 2010. Just download vb 2010 from microsoft, open the project (source code) and press build -> build silver07.

 

Bump. Been a while since I played Runescape last time, but seems like this still works like a charm. Couldn't think what it would be like playing 07 without this

Just tried the client today, still working perfectly and as it should be as it is final version (ofc I will update if someone finds a thing to fix )

 

New version released! V1.5 offers ability to hide free world ads (it doesn't technically hide them, it just positions the page so that they don't appear to you)

This also fixes the problem where the client was not usable on F2P-worlds.
