Silent mass ban?

I have a few high level accounts that I've been botting a good amount with and none were banned. Perhaps it's just p2p accounts going f2p?

 

I'm still ranked at around 14k/15k

 

I think it was just a lot of accounts running out of membership. School has just started, and so people may have quit temporally.

 

Nope, runescape updated. Lots of bots were down.

 

That's a hell of a lot of accounts to run out of membership at basically the exact same time. If it was over a week I wouldn't be surprised, but 1 day...

 

They pruned the highscores it was posted on the RS forums.

Accounts run out of membership and they don't get removed off the highscores for 1-4 weeks. So this could be the build up of accounts over a month or what ever their pruning schedule is.

 

I think they're only banning obvious bots with like high xp in certain skills or something?

 

Ive stopped botting for until this all figures out. Dont feel like losing my maxed stakers.

Oh, well that makes a lot of sense. Do you have a source for this at all?

 

Someone did hack his password actually but the account is locked.
