I sent Sigurds $55 for a Dota2 Beta Key via paypal (his paypal name is Armands Sergejevs, paypal email: [email protected]). Shortly after payment was sent, he sent me a Dota2 Key which had already been redeemed and was therefore worthless to me.
His sale thread for the Dota2 Key is http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1329458 and you can see from the comments there that he also scammed at least one other person by never sending a key at all.
I contacted him via every means possible to give him the chance to make things right on the off chance he had bought a key and sold it, without knowledge that it had already been redeemed. He never responded to me directly, but responded to Paypal dispute in order to hang on to the money i sent him.
His response in the paypal dispute process clearly indicates he received my money, there is unfortunately little proof I can give to the fact that his provided key was already redeemed.

2/9/2012 10:06 PST - Seller: Hello,I sold virtual goods to " William Turnbull " , i gave the virtual goods instantly after i received the money from the person. I don't see any proiblem with this deal as everything was done virtualy, and i delivered his virtual item in virtul way ( chat ), and i received the money. But apperently " William Turnbull " have claimed his payment, but he shouldn't do that as i gave him his virtual item. Everything was done virtually via Chat, so there wasn't any delivery or paper work, as the item was virtual.Thank you for understanding.
2/8/2012 08:17 PST - Buyer: As I have already told you, in the various emails and messages I have sent you without hearing back, the key you sold me has already been used and therefore I cannot redeem it. A used beta key has no value as it cannot be redeemed more than once, it cannot be used to activate the Dota2 game on Steam. At this point I again request a full refund of the $55.00 I sent for the key.
