Signature advertising rates?

Hey all, I recently got an ad banner designed for the first time ever, and was wondering how much people are generally offered to put something like this in their Sythe signature. I've never been in this need or want of advertising my sythe threads till recently, so I'm not really sure. Obviously it would depend on post count and the user you offered to, but is there a general standard or price on these that one would pay?

Another question would be an offsite one, but how much do you think (very generally) an ad banner costs to list on a major clan forum website's home page, and how would you get in contact with the one in charge of this feature?

The rates differ per person, for example they'll pay me more than they'll pay you. There's no general standard price, it differs per website you're advertising aswell.
