1) Worked as a counselor at a day camp this summer
2) Became rly close with co-counselor
3) Ended up falling for him


My co-counselor has a girlfriend, and I am a gay guy suffering from unrequited love. I have only known him for two months, but despite my crush, we are good friends. He isn't aware of my crush nor that I am gay; he thinks we are just good friends.

Camp is over soon, and I am scared of losing him. Although he has a girlfriend, there is always that glimpse of hope that he might turn out gay. Unless he blatantly says 'No, I will never be with you. I am straight' that 'maybeee he..' will perpetuate my thoughts. Regardless of my emotional feelings, I am nervous since I consider him one of my best friends. We go to different schools.
