Why should you quit it?

You didn't specify some important details (are you going to school, age...), therefore it's very hard to give you an answer just like a yes or a no.

If you have bad marks in school, I suggest you quitting, otherwise if all goes well, you shouldn't.

I think you should at least consider Cutting Down on the Computer, Yes.

Why are you so angry with this site? I mean, yes, there are scammers and quite a lot, but its community (well a part...) is good.
 
I don't think you should quit but make some kind of planning so u still do whats have to be done for school but still can enjoy your games
 
Don't quit the compouter because you can use it to look up information for homework, reports, etc. also the IRC is a great way for people to help you with math and history etc.

You could equal it out.

Focus on school, do all your homework, and use the rest of ur time to get on the computer whether its 4 hours or 10 minutes
 
Just see how the first few weeks of school go and then decide from there.
 
If your social life is suffering from it, then yes, you should quit the computer. You can try to cut down on the hours you're on it, but this won't work most of the time because you will eventually go on as much as you did before.
 
Jesus Christ. If some kids on Sythe.org are going to convince you to "quit or not quit the computer", then you're an idiot. It is a decision that nobody cares about and only can make.

Stop wasting time.
 
I personally dont belive a computer can make you dummer. But of course it depends what you as a person use it for. Sure if you drool over porn all day then it is making you dummer and you should quit. But if you use it for Programming and intelegent conversation on Sythe then you wouldnt be getting stupider. I suggest that you eaither learn something usefull to do with computers so that you dont become stupid. Or just quit.
