Should the game mechanics be updated?

you remember pre-eoc the 8 way switches the claws-gmaul switches.
i know it has something to do with runetech and that we used to have runetech 5. can someone please tell me why jagex doesnt add that since osrs would be way better when bridding/smooth pking comes out. example. when im risk fighting on my gmaul pure i can stack the maul but 1 hit shows later also i cant use premade efficiently since they count as a shark you can eat shark ttl but it takes just as long as shark shark for the next time you can eat/attack.

because they did not make it for pking, they made it for players to be able to go back to the good old days... go play a private server if you dont like this games mechanics

 

I assume it's not just a simple update since it has to do with the game engine, it would probably be far too much work for a game that they don't really plan on updating.

 

I think RuneTech5 is the best update osrs could possibly have as they're most likely releasing PvP worlds in the near future. A lot more people will start to hybrid again which I think is important for the game as many people don't like edge PKing, I also don't really see the point of PvP worlds without any hybrids.

 

Your right but even the people that like edge pking (me) and edge risk fighting would prefer runetech5 since i cant even use dlong-gmaul or dlong dds smootly i would rather have smooth swiching/eating/combo-eating than godwars
