Does anyone even check the scam reports?

The one I posted on purestrnoob9 has been open since Jan 5th. Why is it taking so long for action to be taken?

 

Spam reports are all done.

 

Most usually wait till they are all done and then archive, if that's what you mean

 

Spam reports have been getting cleaned out each day. In fact, as FireZ mentioned right now the RaSp is empty.

I have not received any feedback, after my last post, and nothing has been done to the scammer.

 

You just changed from Spam Reports to Scam Reports. It seems like you're looking for things to complain about. I assure you, the staff are working to get everything done and your report will resolved soon but we have other things on the site to work on and our lives to worry about too.

 

Wow, I'm sorry. It was a typo, I meant scam reports, and I know the staff works extremely hard. I just want to see that scum banned.

Don't blame me for "looking for things to complain about." It's highly unprofessional and offending.

Advertising gold farming websites (the site in your sig is a business website). Are mods above the rules, or did you pay for the link? (I know I'm sounding bratty, asshole-ish, etc, but you've really pushed one of my buttons).

This is a little different. The members running this are Sythe.org staff members and have a thread about it on Sythe. They only have a website to make things easier to server the customers with forms, etc. It's basically the same as having a link to there Skill training thread.

Eh I just did a bunch of scam reports. It's not a lot, but it actually took me a whole 45 mins-1 hour to complete that amount. That's why there are 3 pages of them :I

 

Scam reports often take 15+ minutes each and they eat up a ton of moderator time. They'll get done.

 

Yes, they have purchased a link, you can see it occasionally at the bottom of the page on the homepage.

On topic, just give it some time. I been knocking out between 5-10 a day, but sometimes they take an awful long time to sift through all the details and what not.

I'm going to pull out an old mod response. Scam reports take time and will get done as when they get done. Forcing moderators to do them never works and thus the reports must be done at the moderators discretion (when they feel like it). Just make sure you search the report a scammer section before you trade to make sure there are no active scam reports on whoever you are trading with.

 

Yeah, sorry about that. I just needed to vent . I have a lot of IRL things going on, and getting scammed was the last straw. I just hate seeing scammer filth walk away from a scam with no consequence/punishment.

 

Please be patient and refer to the responses above. We're volunteers and try to process as many reports as soon as possible. All of them, including yours, will get done eventually.
