Token Failure

I hate this. I am a person that used to leave rs up on my computer all the time, and just go log in when I had time to play. Now it seems like every time Im gone for a few hours it gives me the token failure message. I just want to know how other people feel about this. The floor is open!

 

Usually you only get a token failure when there is an update and you haven't reloaded your browser.
- i guess it only annoys you if your to lazy to hit the refresh button?

 

I agree with scared. It stops bots though so I'm happy.

 

Its not the fact that im lazy, its the fact that I walk away from my computer and do other things with my life. Also for me it doesn't just happen if there is an update. It also happens when nothing new has happened. and thank you Pk3d

 

Yeah it happens to me all the fucking time.

I log out into the lobby and leave for 5mins or so, When I come back around 60% of the time I'm in the log in screen and I need to refresh, it is rather annoying but theres not alot I can do about it. =(

 

Exactly. I do the same, or I wait for it to load and afk for 5-10 mins. Someone that understands :love:

I spoke to Tmoe about this. And he was insisted it was for bots, to prevent them and it only occurs every 6 hours. I know Tmoe will read this eventually. "Told you" ^_^

 

I know what you mean man. Today alone happened 4 times. Its so annoying

 

Happens to me alot also (I use the downloadable client)

 

I get the same message after I double log and after a while of not logging in.

I use swiftkit for RS. RuneScape has been having so many weird bugs like this.

 

It doesn't stop Simba. We have a program(SMART manager) that monitors the script process and when the Token Failure happens the program closes Simba and starts it up again and automatically runs the scripts. ^_^

Im glad that im not the only one out there who find this annoying as shit!

 

Its really annoying imo when you hop worlds and get logged straight to lobby and then have to reload... especially when your doing clan activities

 

Well I think it is used to diminish bots as well. Only allowing certain time restraints for accounts. It makes sense, but why does it occur so often?

 

Are you planning on marketing this?

 

I've not had this issue at all. Can't wait for it to happen to me lol
