Should I get membership?

So then guys I am wondering I have just been given a £20 giftcard for game which equals out to around 4 months of membership and I am wondering if it would be worth getting members?

Like how could I make my account worth more or get more money like RSGP to sell on here?

Also what would you do before I get membership? Like what skills would I need to level?

 

I would get more defence levels and well maybe get minning up to mine but honestly do not spend all the 20$ on 4 months if it is possible make it for a month and get a taste of how the game is now and then decide by yourself mate.

 

Sell the card for about 100m?

 

How will the 100m benefit me much though? And also would people buy for that much?

 

Could invest it into getting 99 herb or atleast getting overloads. And in theory with Fendle's rsgp price at 20p per mil yeah.

Also in terms of making the account worth more, make it a barrows pure.

Well you could do it and bot on it also to make some decent profit. I would prefer you to use RiD, If you search a free bot I would suggest Powerbot. But RiD ist the best for me right now..

 

Become a member, train slayer, which will raise all your cmb stats. Also has the chance to get skills such as Agil up so you can make your account worth more

 

Well you'd have to invest five pounds into a membership but if you bot the herb you could be 99 in a week. Then you could bot up your strength and attack.

 

Basically 70 defence with any attack/str is a barrows pure (over 70 though so you can wield the weapon also haha).

Do you mean via pots or cleaning herbs?
with like 75m I doubt he'd be able to clean/do the pots and then be able to sell them and purchase some more fast enough. Also, 75m wouldn't be enough to get it via pots. Not to mention the GE limit on buying herbs.

OP, definitely get membership if you intend on playing, however as Humpo suggested, of getting 1 month and then buying some RSGP is probably the best way to go so you've got some GP to play around with.

 

Someone was talking about barbarian super defence to 99 for less than 100m the other day.

 

I think you should, It'll give you way more benefits then being a regular player. Using certain weapons to level up stats.

 

To be brutally honest... your stats could be botted in probably a week or less.
Would personally suicide dung for chaotics, access to frosts (if you want some gp) and then slayer. Using your chaotics from dung you could train slayer (adding a lot of value to your account) and also yielding a bit of gp, and some hefty combat levels come with it!

If you are looking to earn some cash on that account, definitely make it p2p.

F2p is no way good for cash. And if you are looking to sell it in the end, p2p would quicken the training too.

Either ways, I think you should get p2p.

Also I am not thinking of selling it in the near future as it is my main account and has been since I started playing runescape .

 

p2p is definitly worth the money no matter what your goal is!

 

I would get membership and train Slayer. Slayer is probably the most fun thing to do in the game in my opinion, besides mini games and bosses and stuff.

 

Any idea how much slayer earns you overall?

And also I am mainly looking for a skill that will earn me a lot and I can kep on doing? E.g: Rcing or thieving.
