Should I get back into RuneScape?

Ok so I am recently turned 17, I have gotten bored of Fifa and Bops 2 already, I work full time at the moment on minimum wage lol, and I need and want something to do, but most games seem to bore me.

I have played RuneScape before, I was level 122 before I quit around a year ago and gave my account to a irl friend, he has forgotten password (I beleive him hes my best mate and we hang out reguarly) and I've tried recovering but it is unsuccessful which I don't mind to much, I just want to be something somewhere, ya'no.

I know RuneScape's economy, and the EoC I've read about has dramatically changed RuneScape, is it worth getting back into? If I was to, I'd buy around 10m and see how fun it is, then probably buy like 100m.

Should I buy a pre-made account by a trusted member of sythe too so I can skip the boring stages of RuneScape, or make my own unique account or just not waste my time and not play at all?

If you're wanting to buy an account, I'd be extremely careful these days. I'd go as far as saying if the person isn't staff or very well known, don't trade at all. If you want to learn how to play the EoC and get back in to playing, creating your own account could probably prove useful to familiarising yourself with the game again.

 

^This, personally with the new EoC update debuted I would make a fresh account and test the waters so to speak with the new combat/skilling interfaces. If you feel as though it's something you enjoy, then perhaps look into purchasing an account from someone such as Video.

 

I agree with Rue. With the new EOC update, it's horrible for PVP. A bunch of spamming Letters/etc and hopefully killing him. which jagex claims is skill. Very stupid IMO.

 

I'd stay away if i were you. Horrible addiction to have.
