Should I get Astro A40's?

Hey guys.

I already own a Logitech G35(7.1 surround sound) for pc and a Turtlebeach x41(7.1 or 5.1 dolby surround sound forgot which) for xbox or ps3 gaming. Was wondering if getting the A40's is worth getting over x41s for xbox gaming.

If I did get around to buying A40's I'd sell my x41's but butt G35's for PC.

Give me opinions if you think me spending another $100 at least is a good idea for getting an A40 over my current x41s.

 

My friend had got the A40's and said they aren't much better than the x11's he had o_0. But that's just one persons onion, but if i was in the situation your in, i wouldn't pay the extra 100$..

 

Dude if you already have a great pc why buy another one? just keep the money

 

I've had A40s in the past and they are not that impressive. They're better than my current headset (x12s) but it seriously isn't worth the difference of like $240 in pricetag.

X41's are more then adequate IMO, what games do you play though?

 

Like COD mostly.

 

i agree 100% I got a pair for christmas it is hype and I wish the base was better and controllable base is too weak and so is the sound directional

 

I would not do it.. really not worth it at all.

 

tbh ther allot of money and aint worth it, i have them and trittion 720s and x31s and i prefer my 31s but the trittons and astros r alot more comftable...

 

I've used them and they are good, but I would not spend all that money on them. I stick with my px21's, cheap/reliable.

 

Don't waste money on CoD. It isn't a beautiful visual or audio experience compared to other games like bf3. Especially on an xbox with upscaled video and average audio. Your current headsets are more than adequate for what you want.

 

Just stick with the turtle beach, they both do the same job
