Hell no, just buy a used car with that or save it up, you'll really regret getting a guitar for $6,000. You can get so much more than a guitar with $6,000.

 

wow 6 grand....why would you spend it all on an item that you can purchase for less than 300 for a really good one?

 

The way I see It, there are 3 types of guitars.

Shitty $50-$150
Decent $150-$400
Awesome $800-$1600
Unnecessary- $2k and up

yes there is a gap between decent and awesome, as it depends on the guitar you buy.

Like I have an Epiphone Les Paul, got for $150. My friend has a Fender Telecaster Custom, $250. Mine is better in every way. I would also consider mine a decent one, despite the price. it depends on the guitar you buy.

If your buying a awesome guitar, Go for a Gibson Les Paul, Taylor Solidbody, or a ESP EC Series. Anything above $1,600 your not going to notice a difference then in the $1000 range.

 

Buy it, that guitar made me jizz in my pants.

 

Get an older SG! 1986s are only around $1000 or so and you could get a nice stack and pedals with the rest of the cash

buy a cheaper one, there are enough awesome guitars and 6000 dollar is a shitload of money. imagine all the things you can do with it. :O

And not to forget that you can spend another 1000-2000$ for a sick AMP.
Because a good guitar with shitty amp is still bad sound.

i think you should do what you want too do there is no point letting people tell you buy it or not because at the end of the day your gonna go by your own judgement but in imo i would only buy the guitar if i wanted too be big in the guitar world and presue it as a job

 

Do you love playing it? You shouldn't buy a guitar that you don't have a touch to.
