Shisha Smoking

Shisha is only more dangerous than smoking cigarettes if you do it like everyday. I barely know anyone that smokes Shisha everyday lol. It's more of a occasionally thing and in that sense it's fine. If you're that worried about health then there are flavours with no nicotines although it doesn't feel and taste as good as flavours with nicotine.

 

Who cares if it's worse then cigs, god that wasn't the question. Well i'd say starbuzz and nakhla mizo are nice, ofcourse that's personal opinion. The rest really is said. Don't overcoal and don't pack your bowl too much.

 

Also, starbuzz and fantasia will give you thick smoke clouds.

 

I am over the age of majority and I am aware of the dangers. I don't plan on smoking constantly, but most likely weekly or couple times weekly as a relaxation/social thing.

Fantasia seems pretty popular from my research. Any particular flavors that are any good? I am a fan of fruity tastes and not minty shit.

Okay so back on topic for the poster,
Hookah/Shisha Brand: I Recommend Khalil Mamoon
Hose: KM Beast Hose

Shisha Flavors! - Starbuzz- simply mint, blue mist are two of my favorites

Al Fahker- Mint is a classic but I think it has more of a traditional taste to it, you might want to give it a sniff at your local shop before you buy it

Fantasia- definitely my favorite brand, I like adios mother%#$@!, ace of spades, Rainbow Burst
Adios tastes like a blueberry pie to me, or maybe blueberry koolaid
Ace of Spades- Vanilla / Chocolate Mint
Rainbow Burst- Fruity Pebbles

Romman- a more traditional style tobacco, I personally think they use the best tobacco, mint and strawberry are both excellent flavors from them. Clouds aren't as thick as fantasia or starbuzz but the taste is excellent and I believe it gives a stronger buzz if im not mistaken.

Oh yeah the packing and stuff, I recommend a vortex bowl if you are smoking anything but tangiers and a tangiers funnel for tangiers shisha.

When you Pack the bowl sprinkle it in, I suggest youtubing how to pack a vortex bowl, you want it to be light and DON'T pack it down

Use Natural Coconut Coals for best flavor, I personally like Coconaras but other people like chronic and cocobuzz, they are all fine. Quicklites are the nasties and you can get tons of nasty side effects from them.

Heres a chart if you want some help looking at brand at your local store, if you are anything like me and smoke it more for the flavor I would opt for what I recommended above

 

In terms of shisha - I definitely suggest going with Starbuzz. IMO, Fantasia has a chemical aftertaste that makes me sick.

Hookah - A Khalil Mamoon or a Mya brand hookah would be my choice.

 

You should definitely try Romman shisha, and Fantasia does have some flavors that just aren't good, you might notice that aftertaste with some of the bad flavors. Give Adios MF a try

 

I've tried both. Starbuzz is still and will always be my go-to.

Just tried that new white mint flavor from the bold line from starbuzz, its the dankity

 

I got a Mya Petite. Apparently it is an excellent hookah for the price, and I didn't want to go all in on a KM until I knew that this is something I am going to dedicate time to.

 

I smoked it for the first time after work last night and it was a learning experience. I messed up an over filled the bowl so I got some burning. I heated two coals and the bowl is really too small for two coals without over heating. It was quite pleasurable until it got too harsh. I messed around with the coals and got rid of the harshness, but soon after that the herbal shisha I was trying lost its flavor. I am going to try some of the actual shisha when I get home from work this afternoon.

 

When you pack your bowl try to pack it so that its under the burn line, your bowl will develop a black line after you smoke it a few times. two coals should not burn a typical bowl, assuming you have the Egyptian bow / mod bowl that came with it. I highly suggest investing in a vortex bowl. When you put your shisha in sprinkle it and if its too high either take some out or push across it as opposed to pushing it down. Also don't use quicklights use natural coconut coals. If you are having a problem with it losing its flavor you can try a vortex bowl as well because it keeps the juices it in and makes it taste a ton better. When you do it right, I get like 30 minutes before I even have to move my coals letme know if you need me to take some pictures.

I tried again this afternoon with just a single coal and it didn't get hot enough to do anything, so now I know that 2 coals is what I need. I am using Coconara naturals.

 

Next time I smoke ill snap some pictures, just make sure the shisha isn't touching the foil

 

I tried again just now and I think I may have got it. It takes a lot less shisha than what I thought it was going to. I am smoking Al Tawareg and have to say that I am not a fan. There is almost no flavor, but then again it could be error on my part.

Edit: Shisha sickness is a bitch. Felt fine for the first 15 - 20 minutes and then got really dizzy so I had to stop. I had just ate and I thought I was well hydrated.

 

Take breaths in between puffs, Al Tawareg is total crap, so the flavor isnt you, get starbuzz or fantasia
