Reform:
I would like for you to know that I genuinely care about the users here on sythe and DO have a huge amount of respect for most of the staff here. I never even intended to scam anyone in the first place and I am willing to give the user a full refund + some extra runescape gold for the hassle that all of this has caused.
Explanation:
I was doing a trade for an upgrade. (something that I have done multiple times successfully before the incident.) I was noticing a bit of lag on my computer and told the user that I would "brb" I then restarted my computer and by the time that I had msn back up the user was offline and his status was switched to "enraged." As I said I am willing to give him AND the other user that I was trading with when I was banned a full refund.
**note: In no way am I saying that I "dc'd" and that was the reason that I could not make the refund because obviously that would be a lie. I am just saying that in the few minutes that It took me to come back he was gone. I planned on just applying the upgrade anyway but his password was changed.
Requests:
I would ask that you would take the time to read this appeal and support me.
If this appeal is denied; I would like to request at least a temp ban+twc or a market ban so that I may still redeem myself and stay an active member.
Questions: I also have been browsing through some other cases like this and most mods have been saying once you repay the person + provide proof your account will be unbanned. If this is the case, why was I not given this opportunity when I first got in contact with the staff? (And if I am able to track down and refund the users with proof will that resolve this issue?)
