Doesn't SFA already include such debate?

 

SFA is more geared towards morality questions rather than logistical analysis. Law writing debates are much different than moral debates. I just feel it could use it's own section in order to properly develop these kinds of discussions

 

Technically Sythe has to approve forum changes and since he is active in the SFA you'll piss him of if he doesn't say you can do it. The SFA really kind of isn't active enough to need sub-forums, to be perfectly honest.

 

I support it.

Sounds like a good idea and a way to educate our generation of voters who know little about politics, let alone how the system is setup.

Debby downer, it won't get any more active if we don't spice it up a bit imo, it's been the same old debates over and over again, coming at intelligent discussions in such a different way will reinvigorate it a bit I think

Something for All is for debates, all of them.. I disagree with this implentation because I dont even think the SFA currently has had such a debate, if they were popular, then I'd understand.

This won't be approved by an admin without sythe's consent, unless sythe himself does it.

 

They're not popular because the ambiance of the SFA right now is strictly moral debate. There's no logical debates to be heard of because there's no room or incentive to introduce them

 

I could help you set this up if you want. Won 2nd best delegate in my committee and my school won best delegation at Princeton Model Congress.

 

@karl, there are also several people expressing interest in this like RSAT. I don't think it would flop

i think this is a pretty stupid idea to be honest i mean we already have a forum why cant we just discuss it there there is no point plus its just useless. i dont get why you would suggest this so badly its not like the world will end if it gets denied, which it will

 

^Someone is upset I insulted his idol :< But anyway, if you'll please include reasons that were not already stated why you think this idea will not benefit the forum. I would greatly appreciate it so I can further refine the idea so it will be presented in the best light

well its just a waste of space and time.. and nobody cares about law anyways. considering that i have moderated 4 rs fourms in the last year i know from experience it would fail
