Senior Prom

Hey, so I'm graduating High School this year, and I have my senior prom, it isn't until June, but I figure I better ask now before it becomes too late. I don't really have any close friends. I don't have that friend that I have been friends with since Elementary School, or even middle school for that fact. I have moved like 4 times in my life, attending 5 Different Schools. I have went to this high school since my freshman year, but I still don't really have that close close friend. I Want to go to my High School Prom, but I obviously don't want to go by myself, so what should I do? I don't wanna be the awkward kid doing nothing. It isn't that I'm awkward or anything, I'll talk about just about anything with anyone I have friends, but I don't really have friends who I'd go hang out with. I just have the friends who I'll talk about random shit with at school, and say what's up walking by in the halls. That's about it, what should I do?

 

You still have time and be more known to people. I am pretty sure your a cool guy, so you should just go for it. Meet more people and talk to them more and more and eventually you'll start hanging out with them. That's basically what I do, definitely with girls. If I don't know them and I find them hot, I would go up to them when they aren't with any of their friends and talk to her. If I find her chill, I will ask her if we can chill at a later time and after meeting for the second time, you feel more comfortable with the person and eventually it should lead up to more hanging out time.

 

What do you do doing lunch period?

Have you tried joining any clubs or maybe you could join track?

 

Play sports. Makes friend's easily. I made most of my friends from football/volleyball. You could always take an underclassmen...

 

ehhhh, that is a really dumb choice. Usually they would go with you for sure, but they only go so they can come along for the ride. Unless you know the underclassmen really well then go ahead, otherwise if they are just an acquaintance get one of your better friends.

on topic- start talking to more people you have a lot of time, just try to be sociable. TALK TO EVERYONE lol, ive moved quite a lot too, just be sociable

 

Latch onto someone but not too tightly, and follow them around awhile. Eventually you will be able to make more friends from one friend. This is only if you don't want to do sports/clubs.
