Please rename your thread, these aren't quality in the slightest. Not to flame you, but misleading members to make 50k per shitty sig is a bit on the bitch side.

 

Your sigs aren't any better, they're all just a mess of contrast, lighting, and oversharpenedness.

"Not to flame you, " that clause contradicts itself. No need to flame me because I offer sigs for 1/8th the price of you, and around the same shittiness.

I apologize for being a dick, I was a bit fucked up and in a pissy mood. They aren't GARBAGE but they aren't the best. I will admit mine need a lot of improving, but I actually think my shit out. Brushing, and using brushes is not the way to go, be more creative, use filters, smudge the filters, etc.

Maybe you saw my current sig (which actually does suck and is over two years old), but maybe you didn't look at the examples.

Anyways:
To the creator of this thread, and to you, sir fuckyou,
What is depth? and how is it made? It is how close (or far) an object or detail appears to be, typically done by a combination of lighting, blurs, coloring, and sharpening.
What is lighting? Lighting is when you purposely add a lighting source, usually to help at depth.
What is a gradient map? A gradient map is a form of coloring, in which the user selects or creates a gradient to create a color scheme.
Whats a good blending technique? There are several ways to blend sigs; You can smudge or blur the edges, brush over the side, duplicate the render and Gaussian blur it and place that layer beneath the original render layer, you can use different coloring techniques, etc.
How do you make YOUR text? By making it FUGLY? Text tool. Then, depending on the style of sig, I warp text, adjust colors, adjust font face and size, adjust settings other settings in the character panel, and of course, the blending options dialogue.
How do you make your background? Although I a constantly experimenting, typically I duplicate the render, and apply filters and transformations, and then smudge. Also, I like to use the pattern stamp tool to add textures to the background. OCCASIONALLY I will use brushes and c4ds, but usually these are just to add details to the sig, and only that.
What is monotone? Monotone is when a piece of art appears to only have one main color, usually done by a sloppy color balance thrown over an entire sig.
Do you make the background from the render or make the background pre-made? I make the background from the render.

 

So, I saw your current and the examples. They are nothing spectacular but I will say, worth 50k. Make another thread man, I'll vouch for you. Like I said I was really pissy the other night and had no right to say what I said.
