Selling Santa off?

I stopped playing a while ago, with the intent of selling my Santa for real money one day. Now looking at the going price for the Santa/Gold it seems like the RWT price of everything has gone down by half since I last checked, while the value of the Santa hasn't increased in price enough to make up for this.

My question is would it be a good time to sell it off? If the competitive gold farming market is bringing down value? Or would it be wise to let it increase in value then flog it off?

I know no one has a crystal ball, but opinions are welcome :idea:

I think gold will continue to go down as people drag the prices down :/ santa will rise over time. but runescape wont last forever, I would say now is decent time to sell.

 

Its probably at its high point right now, sell it off, in a few years it could easily be worth nothing.

 

Thanks for the responses guys.. hm.. I start a job soon so I guess gaining an extra $20 by waiting an extra couple of years seems a bit desperate haha. I presume it's easier to sell cash to the trusted bulk buyers here so I'll do that sometime soon.

 

Why would it be worth nothing in a couple years? I know that it won't last forever but as far as I know Jagex isn't going downhill. I think theres at least another five or six solid years left of the game before things get shaky.

If you're going to sell it soon, I would at least wait until Christmas, that would probably be a good time to sell.

Wait with it untill xmas and sell for more profit.

 

With everyone saying its going to go up during xmas it usually crashing around December and rises during like November so sell a bit earlier

 

In all honesty, I say hold onto it for a bit longer. The Gold Prices can't go down anymore and if they have to change prices, they will start shooting back up, so, you can only gain from here. If you want to make more profit out of it and you have the patience for it, I say hold onto it for now.

 

I wouldn't sell now and wait until Christmas holiday, make an extra 25 dollars or something. You never know how high it could go.
