How to get on Runescape at a school network?

    How to get on Runescape at a school network?
    Ok first thing is first

    THE WEBSITE ISN'T BLOCKED, SUGGESTING A PROXY WILL BE CONSIDERED SPAM.

    When you are on the school network, the site www.Runescape.com isn't blocked. However, Java is not enabled. When you click the 'Members' option or even the free option, a white screen with a red X on the top left appears. There is nothing you can do about it really to my knowledge.

    Anyone have any ideas? :S

    Have you tried re-installing the latest version of Java?

    Download java or get a portable version of java. Best bet would be a live boot CD with linux, seamonkey and java.

    u could always get a flash drive and install java onto it and go to the computer that's not playing runescape and put the flash drive in, and it should work, or it should allow u to install java.

    well in my skool 1 if u download anything its a 3 day sus. if u find a way onto and blocked website aits a 3 day sus. and if u insert anything into computers u lose all computer privlages :[

    EDIT: try telling them what Java is, have them read over it, and then ask to install it. lol

    First of all go to google.com, and type in del.ico.us and click on the first link, then go to the top right corner and type in vtunnel, click the third link and then type in java.com in the url bar, then download the java standard edition, then go back to the vtunnel url bar and type in runescape, then go to play now, let it load, then close the screen, then go back on internet explorer and go on runescape, and you should be able to play,

    hmmm to me unless you in elementary school it seems pretty douche baggish to want to get on rs, either way, you could try istalling java, or you could bring a flash drive to school and pissbly VNC your computer at home and it will be like using your own computer, except at school. honestly i dont know much about VNC but it could possible work. if you look into it some more.

    My friend failed the other day...

    He took his flashdrive to school,it had java on it...
    He put it in,it scanned it for viruses...bing bing bing it has a virus LAWL

    He went to principles office lol
